Job Title : Special Procedures Tech Profession : Radiology Specialty : Special Procedures Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Active registration as a Radiologic Technologist Certifications : ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography Must-Have : - Experience with general and neuro interventional radiology - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work independently and manage shifting patient volumes throughout the day Description : This is a backfill contract position for a Special Procedures Interventional Radiology Tech. The role requires participation in on-call duties. Candidates will need to have experience in neuro and specialty procedures. The unit comprises staff members, including full-time special procedures / IR technologists and registered nurses. The unit operates a range of equipment for advanced imaging procedures. Typical procedures performed include Perm Cath / Dialysis Cath, Angiogram, Embolization, Mechanical Thrombectomy, Radioembolization, and Kyphoplasty. The ideal candidate should possess a friendly, flexible, compassionate, proactive, and confident personality. Good communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction. Scrubs must include black pants and sage / olive green tops. This opportunity is located in a vibrant downtown area. Candidates with specific neurovascular intervention and stroke care experience will be preferred.
