Purpose of Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Departmental Assistant (part-time) to support daily administrative tasks and help maintain an efficient office environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to handle a variety of office duties with professionalism and confidentiality.

About This Opportunity

Joining our Alfiero School of Business team, the Department Assistant will be responsible for the following :

• Report to the Alfiero School of Business Department Chair
• Assist Alfiero School of Business Department Chair and faculty with professional and accurate document creation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Canva (reports, presentations, posters, certificates)
• Google Calendar meeting and appointment scheduling
• Ongoing and timely digital (Google Drive) and physical file maintenance
• Bulletin board maintenance
• Take meeting minutes
• Ensure office supplies are adequate and well-organized
• Facilitate purchase requisitions
• Answer phones and greet visitors
• Photocopying and shredding
• Run errands across campus
• 10am - 2pm
• $20 per hour
