Job Title
Transports materials for road construction and road maintenance projects, operates equipment, snowplowing, sanding and traffic control as needed. Duties include safe driving skills.
What You Will Do
Operates various heavy equipment such as tandem truck for hauling heavy loads, asphalt and paving equipment, backhoe, power broom, miller box and weed mowers.
Performs general labor requiring on construction and maintenance projects.
Performs snowplowing and sanding.
Performs vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure a safe operating condition.
Performs traffic control, flagging, and signing for projects.
Completes tasks in support of road maintenance to include carpentry work, fence installation, jack hammering, painting, erosion and drainage control, tree trimming, grounds maintenance, cattle guard replacements, refuge removal, weed mowing / control.
Monitors and accounts for materials usage.
Performs other duties as appropriate or necessary for performance of the job.
What You Have
Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
License : Valid Class A Commercial Colorado Driver's License with tanker and air brake endorsements required.
