POSITION SUMMARY
Located in North America’s wind belt, Davenport is at the forefront of renewable energy technology and has remained home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities since 1927. Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late ‘90s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages, and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle® brands.
As the Factory Quality Technician, you will perform multiple chemical tests of finished product samples and escalate tests when needed. You will be responsible for the raw material coverage during periods where an ingredient specialist is not available. You will also be responsible for ensuring all non-conforming finished product is placed on quality hold to prevent shipment to our customers.

The approximate pay range for this position is $45,000 to $59,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
