POSITION SUMMARY :

Marathon Petroleum Company LPssubsidiaryCincinnati Renewable Fuels LLC has an Operator Technician position available inCincinnati OH.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Sampling inbound trucks and assisting drivers
Loading railcars
Monitoring Utilities Wastewater System
Operate control system and respond to alarms
Handle 20% caustic totes
Tank gauging and sampling
Issuance of work permits
Troubleshooting equipment
Basic site security including permitter rounds opening gates and monitoring cameras
Emergency response for spills etc
Housekeeping minor maintenance and other tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS :

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Basic computer math and verbal skills are required.

Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in all weather conditions is required.

Ability to work overtime as needed is required.

Ability to learn mechanical electrical and instrumentation systems to perform logistics tasks is required.

Ability to learn basic maintenance skills is required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Successful applicants must be fit to perform the essential functions of the job and adhere to a strict Drug and Alcohol policy.

Successful applicants will also be required to pass pre-employment testing.

Upon employment candidates are required to join the Employees Representation Association (ERA).

Vocational technical training is preferred.

2 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.

5 years of stable work experience in a light industrial or commercial industry setting is preferred.

COMPENSATION :

Starting compensation will be $20.35 $32.83 per hour depending on experience.
