About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Inventory and Rental Operations to play a pivotal role in the financial and operational performance of the business. The successful candidate will be a visionary and operationally focused leader, responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies, managing the equipment lifecycle, and ensuring that inventory and rental metrics align with business goals. This role demands a data-driven individual with a deep understanding of dealership operations, particularly in the context of equipment inventory management, and the ability to drive performance across multiple departments and locations.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President include overseeing all new and used equipment purchases, rentals, and attachment inventory, leading company-wide rental operations, and establishing standardized inventory reporting and controls. The role also involves collaborating with branch managers on inventory flow, evaluating and managing aged inventory, and supporting executive leadership with business planning and strategic reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 10 years' of progressive management experience in inventory, rental, or equipment operations, and a strong background in a construction equipment dealership. Experience in managing P&L related to inventory and rentals, as well as a strategic mindset with a focus on operational execution, are essential for this position.
