Job Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in supporting surgeons, maintaining sterile technique, preparing operating rooms, and ensuring surgical procedures run safely and efficiently. This position is essential to high-quality patient care and surgical workflow.

Qualifications

• Some college or vocational training required
• Must meet South Carolina Surgical Technology certification requirements :
• NBSTSA-certified CST , OR
• New graduate of an accredited program (90-day grace period for certification), OR
• Completion of U.S. Military Surgical Technology training, OR
• Worked as a Surgical Tech in SC prior to Jan 1, 2008
• CST certification required within 90 days for new graduates
