THE OPPORTUNITY
The Mobile Service Manager will be responsible for running an efficient and profitable mobile service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives and maintenance of all service records. This position also ensures that the daily inventory of mobile technicians’ time is consistently sold to service customers. In addition, the Mobile Service Manager owns the Inland Way Service Commitment for the Mobile Service division.
This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Fontana.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises the Mobile Service Technicians and Mobile Service Advisors
- Ensures technicians time is sold to service customers, tracks KPI’s including technician efficiency and proficiency and ensures performance metrics meet goals and expectations
- Hiring, training, motivating, counseling and monitoring the performance of all mobile service department staff in the designated region
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them. Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department.
- Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
- Ensures customer issues are responded to promptly and addressed to resolution
- Ensures mobile fleet trucks are available and maintained to company standards, are maintained with appropriate inventory of supplied tools and parts
- Ensures technicians using trucks are appropriately trained and adhere to safety standards
- Develops and implements a marketing plan which promotes new and repeat business.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 plus bonus opportunity.
