My client is looking for a part time accounting contractor for about 20 hours a week for 12 weeks. This will be a remote position during business hours (8-5pm Monday - Friday MT). The candidate needs to be local to the Denver Metro area and may be asked to go into the office one day a week.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Accounting Contractor on a part time basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about accounting and finance and looking to grow their skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide exceptional accounting services to our clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.

2. Perform account reconciliation tasks, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

3. Utilize Pivot Tables to analyze financial data and provide insights to clients.

4. Use NetSuite for various accounting tasks, including data entry, report generation, and financial analysis.

5. Manage accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor communication.

6. Assist with financial reporting and budgeting tasks as needed.

7. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals.

8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.

9. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications :

1. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as a contractor or consultant.

3. Strong experience with account reconciliation and accounts payable.

4. Proficiency in using Pivot Tables for data analysis.

5. Experience with NetSuite or a similar accounting software.

6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

10. Knowledge of current accounting and finance trends and best practices.

11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
