Software Developer Onsite (Boulder, CO)

Contingent Position May begin remote with periodic lab visits, then transition to onsite

An organization is seeking a Software Developer to support a Department of the Navy (DON), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Phase III SBIR project . This project focuses on the development of a high-velocity data ingestion engine using unsupervised machine learning techniques and abnormal network behavior detection algorithms to identify malicious activity such as hack attempts, viruses, bots, or insider threats.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO :

Apply modern software development methodologies ( Agile, DEVOPS / DEVSECOPS ) in a professional setting.

Provide detailed analysis and recommendations for improvements and optimal project performance.

Consult with management and peers to define needs or problems, offer solutions, and analyze data for advice and recommendations.

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES :

Bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience .

Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting.

Proficiency with Java .

Database programming experience with JDBC .

Hands-on experience with cloud configuration and software development .

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines .

Familiarity with AI / ML concepts .

Active Secret clearance .

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS :

Experience with Python .

Linux administration experience.

Experience with cloud security configuration .

Experience configuring CI / CD pipelines .
