Job Summary

The Data Entry Analyst plays a dual role of ensuring the accurate entry of critical data while also analyzing that data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. This position requires a blend of precision, analytical thinking, and strong data management skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter and update information in databases and data platforms

Review large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies, errors, or duplications

Conduct basic data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies

Assist in the preparation of regular reports and dashboards for internal use

Work with team members to improve data quality, processes, and reporting methods

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

Ensure compliance with data governance and company policies

Required Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience in data entry, analysis, or a similar role

Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and Google Sheets

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (a plus)

Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify data trends or discrepancies

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SQL, databases, or CRM / ERP systems

Understanding of data validation rules and best practices in data management

Previous experience in a tech-driven or analytical role
