Job Description

A premier organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead technical strategy and talent development in a complex software environment. This individual will play a pivotal role in guiding engineering teams, enhancing delivery capabilities, and advancing long-term technology goals through cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities :

Coach and develop engineers to identify and grow their skillsets and capabilities.

Partner with architects and developers to transition from the current state to future-state technical solutions.

Improve engineering efficiency and solution quality by driving best practices and fostering feedback loops.

Define and execute long-term engineering strategies aligned with broader business objectives.

Lead and influence cultural and technical maturity initiatives within the engineering organization.

Qualifications and Requirements :

Required :

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

At least 7 years of experience in software development or quality assurance roles.

Demonstrated leadership in QA automation and software engineering excellence.

Strong influencer and communicator across both technical and non-technical teams.

Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies and best practices.

Preferred :

Proven success in complex stakeholder environments.

Ability to operate independently and make high-level decisions.

Familiarity with insurance industry workflows and customer experience strategies.

Experience aligning engineering output to business marketing and operational needs.

The base salary range for this position is $135,000–$150,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
