Apex is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative for one of their premier clients in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This role will help drive business growth by building strong client relationships and promoting products (sustainable packaging and tableware solutions), requiring a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What you'll be doing :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requests.
  • Serve as a client advocate, collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Communicate company products, services, policies, and procedures effectively to new and existing clients.
  • Stay informed about company offerings and maintain thorough product knowledge.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions, sharing insights with management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, inventory, forecasts, and client interactions.
  • Ensure all client-related documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Provide timely and precise reports as required.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Participate in strategic sales meetings and contribute to team initiatives.
  • What you bring to the table :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in sales or a related field
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make timely, data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in calculating discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative sales skills.
