SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant provides finance expertise to business leaders in support of Pretium’s strategies, goals and objectives.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Essential Functions :

• Daily and month-end accounting activities including journal entries, system transactions and account reconciliations
• Internal reporting of financials and plant financial analysis on a regular and adhoc basis
• Support Internal Control compliance efforts through preparation, monitoring, and reporting activities
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring tasks are done timely :
• Interaction with Accounts Receivable Team as needed
• Interaction with Accounts Payable Team as needed
• Analysis of standard labor and material costs and analysis of variances
• Month-end reporting and analysis
• Quarterly and Year-End Audit requests
• Support for Plant Operations, including Capital Expenditure analysis, and other operational needs
• Ad hoc analyses
• Help identify or provide information on continuous improvement opportunities
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required

Experience

Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting

Skills and Abilities

Travel

This role requires travel, up to 30%
