Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Gilbert, Arizona. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, maintaining compliance with company policies, and supporting financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities :

• Process incoming vendor invoices and address any payment status inquiries or discrepancies.
• Collect necessary documents, such as waivers, warranties, and manuals, to facilitate the release of subcontractor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements, both discounted and non-discounted, and follow up on missing invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Review weekly cost reports provided by project managers and make adjustments as needed.
• Prepare monthly Work in Progress reports for financial evaluation.
• Resolve accounts payable issues related to outstanding invoices in collaboration with accounts receivable.
• Organize and file all financial documents within the company's electronic filing system.

Requirements - Previous experience in construction accounts payable is essential.
