Now Hiring : Payroll Assistant - New York, NY

Schedule : Monday-Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Pay : $30.00 - $31.00 / hr (Weekly Pay)

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks (with potential extension!)

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in payroll processing and provider credentialing ? Join our fast-paced team in New York, NY , where accuracy and efficiency make a big impact!

What You'll Do :

  • Process payroll for hourly & salaried employees
  • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions, and property payroll transfers
  • Perform audits to ensure payroll accuracy & compliance
  • Collaborate on accounting and payroll-related projects
  • Maintain data integrity while supporting the leadership team

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • 1+ year of payroll / timekeeping experience
  • Experience with provider credentialing is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Peoplesoft Payroll , QuickBooks, or Pay Choice a plus
  • Skilled in payroll tasks like garnishments, taxes, year-end processing, and retroactive calculations

    • Bonus Points For :

  • Bilingual - Spanish preferred
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
