Entry Level Water Engineer

GFT is seeking a dynamic and driven Entry Level Water Engineer to work in our Philadelphia, PA office. This position follows a hybrid-remote work format, with 3 days required onsite per week.

What you'll be challenged to do :

The Entry Level Water Engineer will assist in the planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, preparing reports and design documents, reviewing development and stormwater plans, supporting permitting efforts, and performing construction observation and field services.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following :

• Participate in the planning, design and construction administration of water, wastewater and municipal infrastructure facilities / projects
• Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections, and assist with data collection and compilation for utility infrastructure projects
• Prepare reports, develop design plans, specifications and cost estimates
• Review Subdivision, Land Development, Grading and Zoning plans, including review and development of Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control plans
• Prepare federal, state and local permit applications
• Perform construction observation and field engineering services
• Prepare grant / funding applications
