Registered Nurse Weekend Nights

Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager, the RN Hospice Field is responsible for providing quality care to patients with Gulfside Healthcare Services, in the field. The field includes patients who reside in private residences, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing homes. The RN Hospice Field utilizes assessment, intervention, and education to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life for the patient / family. The RN Hospice Field oversees and case manages the needs of the patients assigned to them. This includes providing supervision for the LPN's and CNA's, and other assigned staff in the field. The RN Hospice Field is responsible for maintaining his / her own clinical and mandatory education requirements and for meeting the established standards of their profession as well as those accountable for his / her practice, assigned duties / patient care, and is an advocate for patients / families and their profession.

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus

Shift : Friday - Sunday 10pm - 10am

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a registered nurse
• Minimum of one (1) years nursing experience in a hospital, home health or hospice setting preferred
• Strong ethical standards and an appropriate professional demeanor
• Should possess sound critical thinking, time management, technical skills, analytical ability, and good judgment
• The ideal candidate is a well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
• Must have reliable transportation to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must be able to provide proof of automobile insurance and have a valid Florida driver's license
