Job Summary :

Assists to coordinate the use of Image Guidance by retrieving MRI / CT scans setting up navigation system and making adjustments prior to and during the surgical procedure. Monitors and reports issues with navigation equipment or processes.

Daily Operations :

• Maintains navigation instrumentation and equipment, calibrating same equipment as needed.
• Retrieves appropriate scans as needed.
• Assumes responsibility for accurate records and results.
• Assists throughout the surgical procedure by making equipment adjustments as directed by the physician.
• Responsible for room set up and equipment break down.
• Participates in continuing education and meeting attendance as needed.
• Ensures that images are transferred from PACs system to Navigation system.
• Ensures that images are appropriate for the scheduled surgical procedure.
