Department Coordinator

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for a variety of functions related to the Patient Accounting department. Includes processing of Indigent Care and United Hospitalist billing and invoicing, management of the health plan website access for department staff, creation and maintenance of reports, and providing pricing estimates. Processes all personnel and payroll related forms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Experience : Prefer some experience working in a healthcare environment.

Knowledge and Skills : Advanced typing and computer skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel and timekeeping systems. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology required.

PAY RANGE

$21.00 - $29.12

Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate's individual experience.
