Job Duties :

  • The County Admin Support Specialist II provides administrative support of Human Services requiring a considerable knowledge of agency operations, service programs and procedures in order to carry out responsibilities and duties.
  • Serves as switchboard operator of the agency by receiving calls, transferring calls to the appropriate extension and assembling folders for intake cases.
  • Greets customers at the reception desk, discerns customers' needs and routes them to the to the correct worker. Makes copies for clients and sends the paperwork to the correct worker.
  • Responds to quality control requests, assist the supervisors as needed and perform other related duties as required.
  • Receipts incoming monies on the daily cash log and sends receipts to payee.
  • To ensure that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. To protect the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment, and data.
  • Performs emergency disaster management services to include American Red Cross sheltering and Disaster SNAP duties : perform other related duties as required.
  • Performs job delivery and / or performance with positive or appropriate customer service delivery to clients, the public and co-workers as an integral requirement.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A High School Diploma and two (2) years of clerical experience.

An Associate Degree in secretarial science or a related field.

A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for all or part of the work requirements. Selected positions may require the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 words a minute.
