In this role, you will craft various types of injection mold tools using Computer Aided Design (CAD). We are seeking candidates for the position of Mold Designer III!

Your Impact

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of various injection mold types and their structures; manages high complexity projects (. conventional slides / lifters, hot runner system, high cavitation molds, stack molds, high tolerance products, multi shot, .
• Manages complex tool packages (. multi tool package with multiple types of auxiliary tooling); effectively communicates with other groups involved in the process; ensures tool design is alignment with production requirements.
• Communicates with internal and external customers and optimally coordinates all information necessary to complete mold design.
• Makes recommendations for improvements to tooling concepts; effectively communicates improvements, benefits of improvements and / or changes needed to the customer.
• May check mold designs of other Designers for accuracy and adherence to design standards.
• Troubleshoots and modifies elements to resolves design issues.
