POSITION SUMMARY :
This position provides financial concepts and strong business insights to the business. The Financial Analyst collects, maintains, and analyzes financial data to advise and support business objectives. This role also assists in preparation and review of financial reports, metrics, and dashboards for management insight. The Financial Analyst ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory financial policies, standards, and controls while utilizing financial modeling and analytical tools to evaluate scenarios, forecast trends, and support decision-making.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS :
Automates internal and external software systems, validates data and maintains data accuracy and integrity.
Gathers information for cost reporting and works with external partners to ensure accurate reporting.
Tracks and manages insurance policies, business licenses, and various assets to guarantee compliance with external agencies.
Collects and maintains financial data to support business objectives and strategic decision-making.
Analyzes financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to assess company performance and financial health.
Assists with accounts payable processes, collaborating with external partners to increase efficiency and ensure timely payments.
Performs research and analysis to evaluate and forecast business performance and develop budgeting and financial strategies.
Monitors and analyzes accounting allocation and spending data to determine financial resources required to develop budgets.
Tracks expenses, inventories, and budget balances to measure actual performance against budget expectations.
Implements, maintains, and updates systems that store and process financial data, troubleshooting problems as needed.
Ensures all financial reporting, operations, and transactions comply with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and audit requirements.
Conduct research on investment opportunities and financial strategies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for operations in multiple states.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with broader organizational objectives.
Trains staff on the use of financial systems and acts as a liaison to the information technology department.
Travel between facilities across Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan to provide on-site financial analysis and support.
Performs other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education & Certifications :
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (required).
Experience :
7+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or multi-state operations.
Experience working with multi-state operations is a plus.
Skills & Abilities :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling tools is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
