Inventory Analyst
The Materials and Inventory Control Specialist collaborates closely with Distribution Center operations to optimize space and resource utilization, ensure accurate production reporting, and provide necessary training. This role serves as a liaison between Operations and other departments to correct system input or data errors, and develops job instructions and flowcharts to meet operational requirements.
Responsibilities
Identify storage and performance inefficiencies within the warehouse and work with warehouse leadership to implement solutions.
Set up parts and manage part obsolescence and removal in both QAD and customer systems.
Develop, monitor, and audit the Production Reporting Reconciliation Process for transfers, barcodes, scrap, and work center accuracy.
Ensure QAD accuracy in capturing and transferring production information.
Control QAD long-range forecasts, including family forecasting.
Investigate suspect transactions and assist in resolving issues through feedback, training, reports, or procedures.
Collaborate with Production, Information Technology, and Finance to identify areas for reporting accuracy improvement.
Develop procedures and work instructions to improve and standardize production and supporting processes, such as barcode, scrap, and shipping.
Coordinate and direct physical inventory resources for all fabrication in-line (WIP) and finished goods (FG) areas.
Perform miscellaneous tasks, including OEE and capacity studies.
Coordinate and perform part audits or cycle counts between inventories.
Troubleshoot QAD / Eagle / Ford systems.
Resolve customer issues, complaints, and PRs, including mis-picks, mis-ships, and shortages / overages.
Essential Skills
Experience in inventory control and planning.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
Knowledge of production planning and control.
Ability to conduct cycle counts and inventory tracking.
Understanding of warehouse distribution and data control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in materials control.
Work Environment
This position is onsite, requiring collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
