Radiology Cardiology CT Tech

Job Summary (List Format) :

• Schedule : 4x9s (Monday Thursday 12 : 00 PM 9 : 30 PM)
• Setting : May float to other facilities as needed
• Imaging Modalities : Must be able to independently perform both CT and X-Ray exams
• Experience Required : Minimum 2 years (first-time travelers accepted)
• IV Skills : Must be able to start and manage 8 9 IVs per day
• Certifications : BLS ARRT (CT and R)
• Patient Population : Outpatient (Adult & Pediatrics) and Emergency Department (ED)
• System / Equipment Experience : PACS Portables GE and Siemens equipment required; Samsung X-Ray preferred; EPIC EMR
• Specialization : Must have hands-on experience with infants and pediatrics (preferred)
• Imaging Exam Types :
• X-Ray : Extremities Abdomen / GI Spine / Pelvis Head Chest / Thorax Musculoskeletal Lower / Upper Extremities
• CT : Abdomen Pelvis Head / Neck Chest Spine Brain Perfusion CTAs Multiplanar Reconstruction
• ED Exams : Outpatient CT / X-Ray Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein Calcium Scores Perfusion studies)
• Procedural Expectations : High proficiency in all required X-Ray procedures listed above
• Compliance : Must meet compliance requirements by the specified deadline (Wednesday prior to start at 12 Noon EST)
• Workplace Policy : Must adhere to strict zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Other Requirements : Must pass a mandatory EKG exam for RNs (as per Cone Health policy)
