Job Title : Maintenance Assistant

Location : Waco, TX

Job Type : Full-Time

Working Hours : Monday-Friday, 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Salary : $18 per hour

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both industrial machinery maintenance and routine building maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities :

Industrial Maintenance :

Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other production machinery.

Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of industrial equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs with specialized technicians when necessary.

Building Maintenance :

Execute routine building maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, air filters, and performing minor repairs.

Monitor and address issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Keep the premises clean and well-maintained.

General Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to address maintenance needs promptly.

Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements :

Experience :

Proven experience in industrial machinery maintenance.

Previous experience in building maintenance and repair.

Skills :

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Physical Stamina :

Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials.

Comfortable working in various weather conditions if outdoor tasks are required.

Communication :

Effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with other team members.

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent.
