Logistics Engineer

PrideStaff is looking for a Logistics Engineer. A Logistics Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing logistics processes and systems that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales, to streamline the supply chain and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and improve logistics processes to optimize material flow, inventory levels, and transportation efficiency.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with global and regional supply chain goals.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support warehouse design, automation projects, and logistics technology implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain optimization.
  • Support the transformation to strong material flow behavior across the plant.
  • Drive initiatives to improve material flow and GPS skills and competences within our tools and methods.
  • Work within a unit and / or across functional areas with limited supervision.

  • Ability and willingness to create, maintain, and improve production replenishment systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in pursuit of improved processes.
  • Ability to attain "super-user" status in warehouse areas.
  • Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations : Describe the primary stakeholders internally and externally in your organization, how this position is connected, and how they interact. It is recommended to create a visual of the organizational structure to support the description or to attach an existing organizational chart.

    Required Minimum Qualifications : The minimum education, certifications, licenses, technical skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary for success in this position.

    Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and logistics software. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus.

    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $33.00 - $45.00
