Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 22 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday rotation required May float to support other units as needed Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs Review patient history and physical with patient / family within appropriate timeframes Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data, report abnormal results to physicians Formulate individualized care plans based on assessment data and patient needs Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination and delegation Provide nursing supervision for licensed and non-licensed personnel Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise plans as needed Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with policies and standards Participate in unit shared leadership and staff education activities Current valid RN license required BLS certification required Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required Must maintain clinical performance competencies for assigned area Bachelor's degree preferred Professional certification preferred Facility : This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services to the community.
