Coldstream Wealth Management is looking for a Portfolio Administrator to join our growing and collaborative team in NE Portland. Arnerich Massena was founded in 1991 and specialized in providing portfolio management, investment advisory, and family office services for high-net-worth individuals, families, endowments, and foundations. The company was known for investing with vision, passion, and purpose, with a focus on both client service and community commitment. In July of 2024 Arnerich Massena merged with Coldstream. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with the team's Portfolio Manager daily and participate in our firm-wide Investment Strategy Group (ISG), which makes investment decisions for Coldstream as a whole. The team has a hybrid environment with members working in office Tuesday through Thursday and allowing work from home Monday and Friday. Responsibilities will include : providing research and analysis to support the portfolio management team in their investment-related decisions, participating in ongoing monitoring and reporting regarding private investments, assisting in ongoing due diligence for public markets managers, creating and maintaining documentation regarding wealth manager investment practices, answering team members' questions related to the rebalancer (Tamarac) and funds' custodian-specific attributes (minimums, fees, restrictions, etc.), monitoring cash and yield alternatives and communicating best thinking to team, executing model portfolio audits and projects, utilizing Salesforce CRM to communicate and execute requests, facilitating new client setup in Tamarac, and supporting Wealth Managers and the portfolio management team on ad hoc projects. Required experience includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, 1-2 years of experience as an analyst with an RIA, asset manager, or similar firm; knowledge of private investments is a plus, high proficiency with Excel, strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a professional manner, using proper grammar, tact, courtesy, and good judgment, experience with Bloomberg and / or Morningstar is preferred, experience with CRM software is a plus as is experience with Tamarac or a similar trading platform, and intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning about investing and financial markets.
