Responsibilities

We are seeking a Behavioral Health LPN, also referred to as a Acute Psych LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in our beautifully renovated 30-bed unit that provides a welcoming, safe, supportive environment where patients receive care based on their individualized needs at Saint John Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare. The Behavioral Health LPN (SBHU Licensed Practical Nurse), or Acute Psych LPN, plays a critical role in a hospital setting by assessing mental health needs, developing nursing plans, administering psychiatric medication, and offering therapy and counseling. These nurses work closely with patients to manage their conditions and improve their mental health.

Sign-on Bonus : $10,000 - 2 year commitment paid out every 90 days

1. Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. IV certification within 90 days of hire
