Why We’re Looking For You
Retool is growing rapidly and entering a new stage of maturity. To support this growth and help Retool scale to the next level, we’re looking for an experienced Head of Business Operations who can partner with our CEO, CFO, and other executives to build systems and processes that enable us to continue to grow and operate at scale.
What You’ll Do
Take end-to-end ownership of Retool’s highest value initiatives, from structuring problems to implementing solutions.
Partner with leaders across product, engineering, GTM, and operations to support strategic decision making and initiative prioritization.
Evaluate opportunities to up-level the way Retool operates, partnering with the C‑suite, finance, and other operations teams to support IPO‑readiness.
Incubate and help run new functions and teams.
The Skillset You’ll Bring
8‑10+ years of work experience, including 2+ years at a top‑tier management consulting, investment banking, or PE / VC firm, and 2+ years at a high‑growth tech company driving high‑impact cross‑functional projects.
Excellent analytical problem‑solving skills with the ability to unearth insights and turn them into recommendations and action plans.
BA / BS in Economics, Math, Finance, Engineering, CS, or other quantitative field; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to synthesize findings and concisely articulate them to an array of audiences.
Self‑starter with a demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly‑changing environment.
Extremely organized and structured, with a proven ability to run projects and processes from end‑to‑end.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range : $247,900—$335,500 USD. Additional compensation may include equity, commissions, and bonuses, dependent on the position offered. Retool provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
