Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Program Manager to join our team at our corporate office in Plano, TX. We are looking for a dependable and energetic professional who takes pride in providing excellent customer service and doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. The Procurement Program Manager performs corporate, field and IT purchasing, vendor management, contract negotiation and coordinates purchasing, quoting, and bidding for goods and services in support of program operations. The Procurement Program Manager should be experienced in managing and resolving a wide range of projects.

Participates in ERP project team meetings to integrate a flexible, robust procurement module within SAP

Creates, edits, and otherwise manages workflow through carefully controlled purchasing accounts for field personnel with established vendors

Negotiates and executes contract terms and conditions with suppliers

Leads sourcing activity across all categories as required

Reviews and recommend process improvement for purchasing group

Prepares, negotiates, analyzes, and administers contracts with suppliers; should be familiar with standard contract language and applicable uses; and assists in the preparation of contract specifications

Develops positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, reviews costs, negotiates to get the lowest possible prices and resolves price disputes

Manages vendor contract items by researching lower cost items, identifying and adding newly requested items and replacing discontinued items

Makes special purchases outside of approved contract items at the direction of the Corporate Services Director, Chief Operating Officers and Divisional Managers

Manages, tracks and reports on exception purchasing

Tracks and reports on field printing volume

Performs password resets as needed

Creates and receives Purchase Orders in ServiceNow. Adds new items in ServiceNow

Provides important accounting functions by managing through SAP and ServiceNow delivery confirmations and goods received and processes supplier invoices through SAP.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of purchasing, sourcing, and contract experience or relevant experience

Project management experience in a plus

Excel proficiency is required. (Ability to create pivot tables and vlookups.)

Manage enterprise procurement platforms, including systems comparable to SAP, to streamline supplier onboarding, purchasing workflows, and compliance tracking.

Effective negotiation skills

Prior vendor management experience

Detail oriented, able to accurately interpret information

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required
