Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Auditor to support the global IT Internal audit function. In this role, you will assist in evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT processes and control across Acrisure’s technology environment. This role will report to the IT Audit Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning and executing of IT audits of varying complexity, including but not limited to IT general controls, application security, compliance with regulations, infrastructure, and governance.
- Perform detailed test procedures and prepare well organized audit workpapers in accordance with Acrisure’s IA methodology.
- Coordinate and perform detailed process walkthroughs with IT and business stakeholders to understand processes, systems and risks.
- Contribute to risk assessments and the development of the annual IT audit plan.
- Communicate audit findings and assist in developing practical recommendations to address risks or control gaps.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, accounting or related field.Professional certification preferred : CISA, CISSIP, CRISC, CISM, CPA or CIA.1-3 years of experience in an IT audit, IT risk or related role. Prior Big 4 accounting firm experience a plus.Experience auditing IT general controls, including access management, change management, and backup & recovery controls.Exposure to control and governance frameworks such as COBIT, NIST or ISO.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience with audit software, such as Audit Board a plus.Occasional travel will be required (Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
