Reefer Technician :

Compensation : $22.00 - $35.89 DOE

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair components of truck and trailer refrigeration units.

Perform diagnostics on transport refrigeration units using scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers.

Conduct preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service on refrigeration equipment.

Maintain transport truck and trailer refrigeration units and truck's APU by reviewing shop orders.

Repair failures, including removing, replacing, and testing for Freon leaks.

Assemble and install parts and components, utilizing soldering, welding, and refrigeration equipment.

Install new refrigeration units on trailers, trucks, and vans.

Regularly travel to existing and prospective customer locations, operating vehicles within their limits and weather conditions, and complying with all road signs.

Adhere to all Auto Safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.

Perform other duties as required and assigned by the manager.

Requirements :

Must be over 21 years of age and possess a valid Driver's License to drive for the company.
