Role Overview

We are seeking a highly technical Product Manager with deep Azure expertise to join the Atlas Run Product Delivery team. This role will focus exclusively on Azure platform products working alongside engineering teams to define refine and deliver cloud capabilities that support enterprise-scale workloads across the firm.

The ideal candidate is a former Azure engineer or architect who has transitioned into product management and can bridge the gap between engineering execution and product strategy. This is not a generic business-facing product role it requires hands-on technical fluency architectural understanding and prior implementation experience on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with Azure engineering teams to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for Azure platform services.

Define and refine the product backlog ensuring features and user stories are technically sound implementable and aligned with organizational priorities.

Author detailed Epics Features and Acceptance Criteria that reflect deep understanding of Azure compute networking IAM storage and governance capabilities.

Collaborate with platform architects security and operations teams to ensure adherence to JPMCs Azure governance and compliance frameworks.

Act as the technical product owner translating architectural discussions and cloud engineering needs into clear actionable deliverables.

Drive roadmap planning and execution in close partnership with engineering leads ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

Track and communicate product health risks and progress metrics to senior stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for automation optimization and standardization across Azure services and deployment pipelines.

Contribute to proof-of-concepts architecture reviews and solution validation activities in collaboration with engineering teams.

Mentor junior product managers and engineers to strengthen Azure product management capabilities within the team.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

Hands-on experience in Azure engineering architecture or cloud solution delivery (prior to or alongside product management experience).

Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner managing technical cloud services or platform products.

Deep understanding of Azure compute networking storage IAM monitoring and policy management.

Strong command over Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Bicep) CI / CD and automation concepts.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical teams.

Experience working within large enterprise or financial services environments with mature governance models.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as an Azure engineer SRE or cloud architect before moving into product management.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira Confluence).

Exposure to enterprise cloud migration platform modernization or FinOps practices.

Key Differentiator

This role is suited only for candidates who have engineered on Azure first and then evolved into product management not generic product managers without technical Azureexperience.
