About the Role :
This role focuses on sophisticated land use and environmental work, including regulatory permitting, CEQA compliance, and entitlement strategy for major development projects. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to clients, providing legal guidance through the complexities of California’s planning, zoning, and environmental regulations. Litigation experience in land use matters is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
Advise clients on complex land use entitlements and regulatory permitting
Navigate environmental review processes under CEQA and related laws
Conduct legal research, draft opinions, and review project documents
Collaborate with a team on large-scale development projects
Represent clients in administrative proceedings and, when needed, in litigation
