Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Senior Financial Analyst role for a growing company in Reno. This Senior Financial Analyst will focus their efforts in financial planning & analysis (FP& A) including evaluating income statements, cash flow statements, and the balance sheet and will assist with A / R, Pricing and Margin Analytics, and support management decisions with critical and timely information re : business performance.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data including budgets and financial statements.
- Provide variance analysis and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
- Assist in the development of forecasting models.
- Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a Senior Management based on sound analysis.
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
- Accounts Receivable Analysis such as deductions taken compared to contractual agreements, Pricing and Gross Margin Analysis.
Requirements
Proven working experience of at least 3 years as an FP& A analyst.Advanced Excel skills and experience working in financial software applicationsHands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packagesOutstanding presentation, reporting and communication skillsProven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysisBS degree in Finance, Economics or related field requiredInterested in hearing more? Minimum of 3 years of experience as an FP& A Analyst or in a similar financial role.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and related tools.Exceptional skills in presenting, reporting, and communicating financial data.Comprehensive knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
