Key Responsibilities :
Process field data collected by survey crews and perform rigorous quality control checks.
Prepare, analyze, and interpret survey-related CAD drawings, including boundary, topographic, ALTA / NSPS, and subdivision surveys.
Perform calculations for boundary analysis, construction staking, and other survey tasks using AutoCAD Civil 3D and industry software.
Conduct closure calculations, COGO computations, and resolve discrepancies in field data.
Review civil, architectural, and structural plans to provide technical support to field crews and project managers.
Assist in preparing legal descriptions, plats, and exhibits as required for various project types.
Ensure compliance with jurisdictional codes, standards, and survey regulations.
Communicate effectively with field staff, engineers, and clients to clarify survey requirements and resolve technical issues. Qualifications :
Qualifications :
35 years of experience in surveying, engineering, or construction-related roles.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and other software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of surveying principles, boundary analysis, coordinate geometry, and construction staking techniques.
Familiarity with processing submittals to city, county, and public agencies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and precision in calculations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams and clients.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of California land use laws, regulations, and survey standards.
Experience preparing legal descriptions, plats, and deliverables for public and private projects.
