  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Process field data collected by survey crews and perform rigorous quality control checks.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret survey-related CAD drawings, including boundary, topographic, ALTA / NSPS, and subdivision surveys.
  • Perform calculations for boundary analysis, construction staking, and other survey tasks using AutoCAD Civil 3D and industry software.
  • Conduct closure calculations, COGO computations, and resolve discrepancies in field data.
  • Review civil, architectural, and structural plans to provide technical support to field crews and project managers.
  • Assist in preparing legal descriptions, plats, and exhibits as required for various project types.
  • Ensure compliance with jurisdictional codes, standards, and survey regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with field staff, engineers, and clients to clarify survey requirements and resolve technical issues. Qualifications :
  • Qualifications :
  • 35 years of experience in surveying, engineering, or construction-related roles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and other software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, boundary analysis, coordinate geometry, and construction staking techniques.
  • Familiarity with processing submittals to city, county, and public agencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and precision in calculations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams and clients.
  • Preferred Skills :
  • Knowledge of California land use laws, regulations, and survey standards.
  • Experience preparing legal descriptions, plats, and deliverables for public and private projects.
