  • TEKsystems has an immediate need for a Security Install Technicians to support commercial customers in the surrounding Denver area. Looking for people who want to move into a fulltime role.
  • Description :
  • Going to be an security / alarm install technician on large commercial security jobs across the Denver area
  • Must be willing to travel in own vehicle to job site for first 6 months.
  • Must have 10 in 1 screwdriver, side cutters, cable strippers 14-24 AWG and trim screwdriver, etc
  • Minimum Experience :
  • 1-2+ years
  • trade school or equivalent security install experience.
  • Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems, CCTV systems, and / or intrusion systems.
  • Valid drivers license required. Local travel to job sites and minimal overnight travel is required.
  • ANY LEVEL of any of the experience below :
  • CCTV experience
  • Access Control experience
  • Intrusion experience
  • Overview :
  • Technical skills and experience fire alarm systems, and / or electronic security systems.
  • Learn programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
  • To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.).
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and proficient in other relevant applications.
  • A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.
