As a Transfer Driver for Darling Ingredients, you are responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle to transfer raw product from our transfer station in Chatfield, MN to our processing facility in Blue Earth, MN.

Work Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday. Start Time : 6 : 00am can be flexible. Work Hours Per Day : 8+

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Pick up raw materials as needed; weigh in raw material when returning to processing facility.
• Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition.
• Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules.
• Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
• Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc).
• Maintain and update vehicle condition report daily.
• Maintain DOT log on onboard computer.
• All other duties as assigned.
