Position Summary
The employee assumes responsibility and accountability of admission / registration processes; patient flow from pre-registration through dismissal, and initial financial arrangements for accounts. This position supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.

Qualifications
Education, Training, Experience and Licenses / Registrations Required : 1. High School diploma or GED 2. Minimum one year job related experience recommended 3. Intense customer / people interaction experience preferred 4. Recommend moderate to intense concentration and attention to detail 5. Typing skills 6. Computer experience desirable Physical and Sensory Requirements : 1 Ability to read, write and converse in English. 2. Ability to communicate with staff, physicians, support agencies, patients, families, vendors and others. 3. Ability to remain calm and composed under stress. 4. Grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, prolonged standing and / or sitting. 5. Ability to tolerate low noise levels for prolonged periods. 6. Ability to function when exposed to hazardous chemicals and / or biological materials. 7. Ability to respond to pages, telephones and other auditory stimulation. 8. Quantitative / mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). 9. Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions.
