Director Of Public Works

Join our team as the Director of Public Works and play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure and services that keep our community thriving. In this strategic leadership position, you will plan, direct, and manage all operations of the Public Works Department, ensuring the effective delivery of essential services to residents. Collaborating closely with the Village Administrator and the Executive Leadership Team, you'll develop innovative goals and action plans that align with the overall vision of the Village. This at-will position's annual salary range is $93,073 - $124,097. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience. Compensation is augmented by an excellent benefits package.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes :

  • Medical Insurance - Choice of two plans for employees and their eligible dependents.
  • Dental Insurance - For employees and their eligible dependents.
  • Voluntary Vision Insurance - For employees and their eligible dependents.
  • Other Insurance - Life, AD&D insurance, short & long term disability, optional employee-paid accident plan insurance, optional employee-paid additional life insurance for self, spouse / dependents.
  • Vision Benefit - $200 annual stipend to be used for vision expenses.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) - Pre-tax contribution for qualified medical, dental and vision expenses; if enrolled in Medical.
  • Comp Time / Holidays / PTO - 40 hours of compensatory time, nine (9) paid holidays and PTO accrual equivalent to years of service.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Benefit for eight (8) sessions per issue / topic.
  • Retirement Plan - Participation in Wisconsin Retirement Systems (WRS), plus additional options that include : Deferred Compensation & High Variable Trust.
