Software Engineer - Full Stack Development - 11+ yrs of Experience (Limited Telework) - TS / SCI w / Poly clearance is required

Halogen Engineering is looking for a Senior Software engineer who will be responsible for providing application development and support to an eco-system of big data apps, in a collaborative environment. Some of the roles and responsibilities include :

• Interacts with customers, PMs, and other development teams to gather, analyze, and define requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy the client's needs
• Develops, maintains, supports, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware / software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis from system level to individual software components
• Utilizes software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, integration, and enterprise-level production environment

Designs, creates, tests, and maintains software and web-based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements

Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and adheres to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is  $213 to $256    (annualized USD).

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO / IEC15288 : Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal; Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement; Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management; Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply. A Bachelors degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience OR A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area). OR A Masters degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience OR A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience. Examples of Qualified engineering fields include : Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management. Examples of related disciplines include : Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics
