TradeSTAR is now hiring Experienced Voice and Data Technicians for opportunities with top-tier contractors in the Corpus Christi area. Work on commercial construction and renovation projects involving structured cabling systems for voice, data, and fiber optics. If you have a proven track record in pulling, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber cabling, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do :

Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling in commercial environments
Build and dress telecommunications racks and patch panels
Label and document cabling systems per project standards
Read blueprints and cable layouts to complete projects to spec
Work safely with ladders, lifts, and hand tools

Requirements :

2+ years of experience in structured cabling installation (voice / data)

Proficiency with cable pulling, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting

Familiarity with BICSI standards and TIA / EIA codes preferred

Ability to read blueprints and perform layout

Basic hand tools and reliable transportation

Must pass drug screen and background check
