Sales Executive (Hampton Roads Area, VA)
An established organization in the logistics and supply chain industry is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to join their team in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia . This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who excels at developing new business, building strong client relationships, and providing customized logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Assess customer needs and develop tailored logistics and supply chain solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals
- Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
- Track industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales reports
Qualifications
Required :
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain salesProven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goalsStrong negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to build trust with clientsPreferred :
