POSITION Alliant Purchasing is seeking a proactive and service-oriented Inside Account Manager to support our growing portfolio of hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, and healthcare providers.
This role is essential in helping members maximize savings, strengthen operational performance, and fully leverage the value of the Alliant and Premier contract portfolios.
The Inside Account Manager serves as a primary point of contact for day-to-day member needs, manages contract and program support, and delivers an exceptional member experience.
JOB DUTIES Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of healthcare members, providing responsive and high-quality support.
Assist members with contract access, utilization, program enrollment, and onboarding to Alliant / Premier initiatives.
Analyze purchasing data to identify savings opportunities, contract alignment, and compliance gaps.
Prepare basic savings analyses, utilization summaries, and performance insights.
Resolve pricing discrepancies, supplier issues, and technical questions in partnership with internal teams and suppliers.
Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation for all member interactions.
Collaborate closely with Member Success Directors, sourcing teams, and analytics staff to support member goals.
Provide training on purchasing platforms, reporting tools, and Alliant processes.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 1–3 years of experience in account management, customer success, supply chain, or healthcare operations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and support member relationships.
Solid analytical ability with comfort working in Excel and reviewing purchasing data.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and fast-paced environments.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED Experience within a GPO, IDN, medical distribution, or hospital purchasing environment.
Familiarity with contract management, purchasing workflows, and supplier pricing structures.

COMPENSATION In the spirit of pay transparency, we can share that the pay range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
If you are hired, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
