As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned shelter locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the area, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What Youll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the shelter environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points at the shelter location.

Communicate professionally with shelter staff, residents, and visitors to address questions and concerns related to security-related matters.

Document incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
