Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role
Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and tools
Experience using precision measuring tools such as automated laser measurement systems, CMMs, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and vision systems
Basic knowledge of high-tech grade materials (e.g., specialty metals, high-purity gases, chemicals, ceramics)
Experience following and improving Standard Operating Procedures
Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience supporting multiple incoming materials operations (fungibility)
Good computer skills and ability to use Google Suite or Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in cleanroom or lab environment and handle small and delicate parts
Capability to handle chemical materials with proper safety measures
Capability to handle other functions such as chemical handling and running DOEs
Experience supporting other incoming materials operations and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibilities :
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, raw materials, and components in a timely manner
Enhance and maintain IQC practices and procedures, and review, enhance, and advise on Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
Develop and implement a process to clear backlog of uninspected materials and verify materials are in line with drawing requirements
Document inspection results accurately, maintain quality records, and work cross-functionally to develop and implement deviation process for incoming materials
Identify and report non-conformances, drive root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives
