About Pee Dee Regional Center
Pee Dee Regional Center is a residential facility of the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs located in Florence, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job Responsibilities
This position implements the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, which include but are not limited to creation of program procedures relevant to prevention strategies, antecedent manipulations, acquisition of replacement behaviors, reduction of maladaptive behaviors, reinforcement procedures; conducts functional analyses and assessment, provides monitoring and data-based feedback, ensures generalization and maintenance of acquired behavior, and creates training procedures for adaptive life skills to individuals diagnosed with intellectual disability, autism, and / or mental health disorders at Pee Dee Regional Center.
This position also oversees programming of associate behavior analysts and provide ongoing support and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support Plans.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
A Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Preferred Qualifications
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification for at least 2 years, completed supervision training required by the BACB, and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Extensive knowledge of behavior change science and other principles of behavior analysis. Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations. Efficient ability to multi-task, and prioritize. Experience working with a variety of individuals diagnosed with intellectual disability, autism, and / or mental health disorders in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction.

Immunization : If this position requires the applicant to work directly with DDSN consumers, a step PPD testing or QuantiFERON TB Gold testing must be completed prior to beginning employment. State Disaster Plan : In accordance with the State's Disaster Plan, which includes hazardous weather, DDSN employees may be required to work in times of an emergency or disaster.
