Corporate Action Voluntary Associate

Location : Hybrid (Newark NJ 07102 OR Brentwood, New York 11717) Duration : 6 months, with the possibility of going permanent. Job Description : We’re seeking a Corporate Actions Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team for a contract opportunity. In this role, you will work with DTC process within Voluntary Corporate Actions with the Reorganization space. This is a temporary contract position expected to last approximately 6 months, with the possibility of going permanent. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. Responsibilities : Process Voluntary events, Mandatory events, Fixed Income, Class Actions, Bankruptcy, Proxy and physical securities processing Provide exceptional client service to our outsourcing clients Perform various reorg events ensuring payments are made timely and accurately, as well as mitigate risk and exposure to the firm Monitor deadlines and critical cut-offs to ensure instructions are processed accordingly Demonstrate the ability to identify potential risk scenarios and controls to minimize operational risk Create, maintain, and adhere to all client-related Detailed Function Lists and Service Level Agreements Prioritize deliverables and responsibilities where necessary Communicate effectively and efficiently across departments, with staff, senior management and clients Represent Managed Services team on monthly Business Governance Committee meetings and industry events Track metrics to ensure activity is submitted timely and accurately Requirements : Minimum 2-3 years in volunteer Corporate Actions in the Reorganization space, back-office systems Must have experience with DTC Corp Actions processing functions and broker dealer operations Knowledge of BPS settlement systems is preferred but not required Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues, as well as achieve deadlines and be able to work effectively as part of a team Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) About US Tech Solutions : US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
